What is EarlyGuide, exactly?
A guided interview. You talk for ten minutes about your child — messy, out of order, in English or Mandarin — and it finds the real moments in what you said, then helps you turn them into answers for each school's written application questions and into preparation for the parent interview.
Is this a consultant?
No, and it is deliberately the opposite. A consultant writes your application for you, for CA$3,000 to CA$10,000. Several Vancouver schools now discourage that, and an application in someone else's voice does not survive the interview.
EarlyGuide never writes as you. Every sentence it produces traces back to something you actually said, and it warns you when an answer starts sounding like everyone else's.
What does it cost?
One flat CA$399, once. A Season Pass covers one child for one application cycle — every school on your list, unlimited sessions, through 30 April. No subscription, no per-school pricing, no surprise quotes.
What can I do without paying?
Talk as much as you like — every area, every conversation, for as long as you want — and your first finished answer, free. You also see every school's questions and your whole map. You will know exactly what you are buying before you pay.
Do you guarantee my child gets in?
No. Nobody honestly can, and anyone who does is selling you something else. What we can do is make sure the application in front of a reader is specific, true, and yours.
Which schools do you cover?
Greater Vancouver private schools, for children entering preschool through Grade 3. Each school's real questions, deadlines and process stages, kept current for the cycle you are applying into.
Can I answer in Chinese?
Yes. Speak or type in Mandarin and the conversation runs in Mandarin. The answer is written in English, from your own words — every school's form is in English.
Is my child's information safe?
We store a nickname and a birth year — no surname, no date of birth, no gender. Voice is never stored anywhere. What we do keep, permanently and on purpose, is your own words, because they are the whole product. See our privacy page for the detail.
What if I want a refund?
Full refund any time before you finish your second session — no time limit, no questions. Your first session is free; once you've finished a second, the season is yours. Our terms say the same thing in more words.
